I just spent five days away from work-related matters and I feel a lot better because of it... absolutely amazing how many people don't bother to leave messages on my voicemail when they don't have a support contract.
I might start doing that a bit more often :-P
Unfortunately, my break couldn't last forever and I'm back at my workstation beavering away writing replies to e-mails which actually deserve an answer; one particular customer also feels the need to attach around one megabyte of images to his e-mails in the form of a gawd-awful signature which eats bandwidth, disk space on my backup server, disk space on the machine which reads it and disk space on my mail archival server.
In other news, Nominet appear to be appointing new .uk DRS experts and I think I might apply - have had enough experience with legal issues concerning domains that I might even get the job ;-) |
